What is Wolt?
Wolt is a food delivery service that originated in Finland in Northern Europe.
Currently, it is a world-famous delivery service that is deployed in more than 23 countries around the world.
I see it on TV commercials from time to time in Japan.

Wolt x Costco | Available even for non-Costco members!
Wolt will start handling Costco products in August 2021, and the first service will start from “Costco Hiroshima Warehouse Store” (Minami-ku, Hiroshima City).
After that, “Costco Sapporo Warehouse Store” (Kiyota-ku, Sapporo City) and “Costco Tomiya Warehouse Store” (Tomiya City, Miyagi Prefecture) have started services and are steadily expanding the area.

Points to note when ordering Costco products from Wolt
While it is very convenient for non-Costco members to order Costco products from home, there are two things you should be aware of before ordering.
First of all, "the product may be canceled due to out of stock!".
Regarding this, Wolt secures the item at Costco stores on the delivery date, so if the item you ordered is out of stock at Costco at that time, the item you ordered may be canceled and you may not receive it.
Of course, in that case, you won't be charged for the canceled item, but if you ordered a main dish such as a staple food and it didn't arrive later, the damage to the dinner would be huge.
There are countermeasures such as ordering more in anticipation of running out of stock, or not ordering the main dish in the first place.
Unlike Wolt, "Huskycart", a company that specializes in shopping agency services for Costco products, has an option in case of out-of-stock to prevent such a thing, so it is very convenient.

The second point you should be aware of is that the product price is different from the retail price!
Wolt is a very useful service, but it is never a volunteer and we seek profit to operate the service.
For that reason, not only the handling fee such as delivery fee and service charge, but also the price of the product itself is added.
From what I've seen, it's added about 20% to 35%.
Surprisingly high and surprised.
